Russian direct investment fund (RDIF) will make its first transaction within 6-9 months according to the press-service fund. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has officially announced the start of the fund during an international economic forum at the St. Petersburg. The fund’s aim is to invest into fast growing sectors of the economy and will be functioning during the next five years. Russian government has put 10 billion of dollars into this fund.
